Blue and White Extra Large 3D Checkerboard Chalice

This chalice forms part of a trio of new chalices, each handmade by carefully applying hand-cut squares of clay to create a 3D effect over the chalice. 

This 'big boy' shorty chalice bowl demands the attention it deserves and works on the table or just chilling on the shelf pleased with his own self-importance. 

This piece is hand-built using a slab building technique, made in earthenware clay and finished with a high gloss transparent glaze to show the distinctive pattern. 

The nature of our making process means that each and every piece is unique and designs, colour, the contrast of tones and patterns may vary.

Care: The piece is dinnerware safe but needs to be taken care of, he prefers to avoid being stacked and we recommend hand washing. NOT DISHWASHER SAFE
