Hand building Mug Workshop – SATURDAY 22ND FEBRUARY
Get your hands dirty and join us for a fun-filled class of crafting your own mug from scratch at our Hand Building Mug Workshop!
In these 75-minute sessions, guests will learn how to create one of Henry’s signature art-deco-inspired mugs from start to finish. Attendees will discover Henry’s self-taught take on the traditional Japanese nerikomi ceramic technique and an introduction to hand-building, rolling clay into slabs, which are then cut and hand-moulded into different forms.
Your mug will then be sanded, fired, and glazed by Henry's team. Glazed pieces will be available to pick-up from the studio in approximately 3 weeks. Please note you will receive a notification when its ready to collect.
The classes are run by a member of Henrys team, who will carefully guide you through the process from start to finish.
